The raw material of the glass beads is glass sand, which is fused into a spherical shape by high temperature suspension and then annealed to eliminate internal stress and prevent breakage.

So far its holding up great, haven't had to refill my sand blaster yet. Hasn't gotten powdery yet either. almost seems better than my old glass bead that i was buying. but need to use it for at least a month more to be sure.
